I live in the UK. Does your CraftersCalculator figure prices in pounds?

I design jewelry and often times it takes less than an hour to make a pair of earrings or perhaps a necklace. How can I best calculate my cost?

I just read about your crafters calculator. I would like more information regarding this program. Is this a program that I would download to my computer if so, what is your delivery time schedule? I have been longing for something and I look forward to hearing from you.

Any currency you enter as your input for your calculations whether it be British Pounds, American, Canadian or Australian Dollars, Pesos or Yen, your output will be in the same currency.

One of the questions the pricing function asks is 'How many do you produce in one hour?'. So, if it takes you half an hour then your answer would be 2. If it takes 15 minutes then your answer would be 4. 20 minutes=3, etc., etc.

Well, think of it this way, what percentage of your finished product is produced per hour?

We know that it's 100% or 1.0 for 1 hour. For 2 hours, it's 50% or .50

OK, so here's where your Calculator comes in handy.

1 / 3 = 0.33 - 1 / 4 = 0.25 - 1 / 5 = 0.2

The 1 represents the number of products you're producing. It would always be 1. The 3, 4, and 5 represent the hours it takes to produce 1 product. The resulting decimal is what you would use in your pricing calculation for Number of ITEMS PRODUCED PER HR.

1 product divided by 6 hours = 0.167 (rounded)
1 product divided by 8 hours = 0.125
