When the CALCULATOR opens...

If you use Word Pad, save the code as a 'Unicode Text Document'.

Scroll down to the bottom of this Web page where you'll find a window containing the script for the Calculator.
Press the 'Select' button. Copy and paste the script into an HTML editor or text editor such as Notepad.
If you're using an HTML editor, you probably already know what you need to do in this step, but...
If your're using Notepad:
Click on 'File' in the upper left of Notepad and choose 'Save As'
In the screen that opens, find where you want to save the Calculator.
Normally, you would want to save it in your HTML file where your other Website files are located.
In any case, remember where you saved it. You'll need to know in step 3.
On the bottom of the screen, where it says 'Save As Type', choose 'All Files'.
For the NEW WINDOW function to work properly, you MUST save it as:
'BetterCalc.htm' YOU MUST ENTER THE 'DOT' HTM...
This will make the script unformatted which is what you want.
Save the Calculator as a separate HTM file 'BetterCalc.htm' on your ISP server.
Copy and paste the 'Launch BetterCalculator' button code (or a graphic code) on your Web page where you want the button or graphic to appear.

To place your Calculator on your desktop:
Find the file you just saved.
Right click on the Calculator file icon.
On the menu screen that opens, select 'Send To'
then click on 'Desktop (create shortcut)'
You should get a pop up window that says:
'The shortcut will be placed on the desktop'.
The Calculator icon should appear on your desktop either immediately or when you restart your computer.
